If you’ve set your sight on getting a Samoyed puppy and you live in the state of Massachusetts then you’ve come to the right place. Here, you’ll find a list of the best Samoyed breeders that are active in the state.
Finding a good breeder is incredibly important when buying a puppy. Good breeders have a reputation to uphold so they breed healthy, social, and strong Samoyed puppies that grow up to be confident, lifelong companions.
However, finding a local breeder that’s just right is not always easy. There are puppy mills and backyard breeders to avoid.
Hopefully, this list of the 6 best Samoyed breeders in Massachusetts will help you get started.
6 Samoyed Breeders in Massachusetts
1. White Nebula Samoyeds
White Nebula is operated by Eliza Wong. Located in Norton, they’re conveniently close to Providence as well as Boston.
They’re an AKC breeder of merit that has been breeding Samoyeds for years. As a small hobby kennel, they do not always have puppies available. In addition, you’ll probably have to be on a waitlist for a while before you’ll be able to get a pup. They do not only breed these stunning dogs, but they’re also very active in the show ring.
White Nebula strives to produce balanced and healthy Samoyeds that excel in movement, temperament, and beauty.
Their breeding stock consists of 3 males, and 4 females. All of their males have gone through OFA health checks and have won championships. Their females have also won a variety of titles.
When buying a Samoyed puppy from Eliza, it’ll come with a genetic health guarantee.
White Nebula has many pictures on their website of their adult dogs as well as of previous litters, giving you a great idea of what to expect when buying a puppy here.
People on the internet are also very positive about this breeder and give great reviews in experience reports.
2. KallieCo Samoyeds
Operated by Diane Lewis, KallieCo is a Samoyed breeder located in Massachusetts. They’ve been breeding these wonderful dogs for many years and use champion and grand champion dogs to produce beautiful puppies.
KallieCo is listed on the SCA website, but they don’t have much other information available about themselves publicly.
3. Skilo Bear Samoyeds
Located in Wayland, MA, you’ll find a Samoyed breeder that goes by the name of Skilo Bear. It’s operated by John & Helen Sullivan who decided to name their kennel Skilo Bear because “skilo” is Greek for dog and Samoyeds kind of look like Polar bears!
They’re an AKC breeder of merit and have been breeding Samoyed puppies since the 1980s, so they have plenty of experience. Furthermore, Helen is an AKC judge and a past president of the MSC.
Skilo Bear takes health very seriously. To ensure that their pups are strong and healthy, the dogs that are used for breeding will have all the required health clearances to ensure that they are free of any health issues.
They have many pictures on their website, but those are primarily of their grown dogs. For pictures of their puppies, I highly recommend checking out their Instagram.
4. Pearl Crest Samoyeds
|Phone number||774-200-1892 / 774-757-8175|
Pearl Crest is a Samoyed breeder located in MA. Unfortunately, they do not have any online presence at all except for a listing on the SCA website.
5. Snobelle Samoyeds
|Phone number||(508) 928-1408|
Snobelle used to have a website, but it’s no longer online. It’s unclear whether they’re still actively breeding, but it’s worth a shot to contact them and ask.
6. Sweet Rock Samoyeds
|Phone number||(508) 947-9699|
Sweet Rock was a popular breeder located in Middleboro that has produced many happy and healthy litters. They’ve had many satisfied customers over the year. Unfortunately, they have retired since May 2021 and are no longer breeding Samoyeds.
Hopefully, this list of Samoyed breeders in Massachusetts was helpful. There are not that many breeders active in this state, but that doesn’t have to be a problem. The ones that are active are worth contacting to see if they have any upcoming litters.
Something that many prospective puppy owners also do is look outside of their state as well. New York and Pennsylvania are not too far of a drive away and there are some amazing breeders located in those states as well, which definitely worth checking out!
ThePetFaq recommends adoption from a rescue center over buying from a breeder. However, we also understand that adopting is not always possible and that there are many good reasons for choosing to buy from a breeder. Please note that we did not visit these breeders in person, however, we did research them to find as much information about them as possible. Always do your own research when buying a puppy!
