6 Samoyed Breeders in Texas
1. Metak Samoyeds
Metak is a breeder of Samoyed puppies located in South Texas. They’ve been in business since 1979, giving them plenty of experience. They’re an AKC Breeder of Merit and produce high-quality Samoyed puppies that conform to AKC standards.
Besides breeding, they also participate (and have won) in many AKC events.
An interesting fact about Metak is that they occasionally have biscuit-colored Samoyeds.
2. Galaxy Samoyeds
Galaxy is an AKC Breeder of Merit that breeds Samoyed puppies for the Texas market. Their dogs have participated in the show ring many times and have won several awards and titles.
Galaxy is operated by Diane Dotson, who is currently serving on the SCA Board of Governors.
This breeder has many adorable pictures on their website, and I was even able to find a video.
3. XnO Samoyeds
|Phone number||(817) 597-5512|
XnO Samoyeds is a reputable Samoyed breeder in Texas. It’s operated by Lance and Amy Rankin who began their journey with the breed back in 1998 when they brought home their first Samoyed named Scout. Scout participated in the show ring several times and then become a mom to their first puppy in 2002. Since then, they’ve produced many beautiful litters.
XnO is dedicated to preserving the breed by breeding AKC standard Samoyed puppies.
4. TNT Samoyeds
|Location||San Angelo, TX|
|Phone number||325-227-7322 / 325-227-9305|
TNT, which stands for Tom and Toni, the name of the people behind the operation, was founded in 1989. They have a long, detailed history with the breed and are members of several Samoyed clubs.
They breed healthy, strong, and gorgeous Samoyed puppies that will make lifelong companions.
To get an idea of what their dogs look like, I highly recommend paying their website a visit. They’ve got some stunning pictures of their dogs on there.
5. Wild Spirit Samoyeds
Operated by Tim and Katie Dubois, Wild Spirit is a Samoyed breeder located in Austin, Texas. They have been breeding Samoyeds since 2019, so they don’t have as long of a breeding history as some others, but they do have a long history with the breed itself, having gotten their first Samoyed in May of 2000.
Wild Spirit’s mission is to breed, care for and celebrate their Samoyeds by furthering the breed and honoring the tradition for which these dogs were bred. Their dogs have won a variety of AKC titles and can often be found in the show ring.
They have many wonderful pictures on their Facebook page to check out of their adult dogs as well as previous litters.
6. Nenetsia Samoyeds
Nenetsia is operated by Steven & Karla Baker. They don’t have much of an online presence, but they are listed on the Samoyed Club of America’s website which means that they’re decent breeders so it might be worth sending them an email to learn more about them.
ThePetFaq recommends adoption over buying from a breeder. There are some great rescue centers available in Texas such as this one and this one. However, we also understand that adopting is not always possible and that there are many good reasons for choosing to buy from a breeder. Please note that we did not visit these breeders in person, however, we did research them to find as much information about them as possible. Always do your own research when buying a puppy!
